Justin Erasmus to Munich-Haar

(Munich-Haar)- South-African / Australian Pitcher Justin Erasmus, will move from Oosterhout Twins (Dutch Hoofdklasse) to Munich-Haar in the second half of May. Erasmus who was part of the Australian World Baseball Classic qualifying squad that clinched a spot in the next WBC in March and pitched for the Brisbane Bandits in the Australian Baseball League last winter where his team won the Championship Series.

South Africa
Justin was named to the South Africa national baseball team for the 2009 World Baseball Classic where he started against Mexico.

Oosterhout Twins
Justin has been of great value for the Twins in 2015 when he helped the team to promote to the top level league in the Netherlands and started the season very strong which ranks him in the top 5 of the lowest ERA’s in the league.

Due to Visa regulations it’s not possible for Twins to keep him playing in the Netherlands this summer and they had to let him go. He will be replaced by Japanese pitcher Keiji Uezono in an effort to compensate the loss of their No.1 starter.

At Disciples Erasmus will be reunited with Brisbane Bandits teammate catcher William Thorp.
